Check the Report Against the Complete Wall

Flexible stone is a decorative cladding within a wall assembly. A panel result alone does not approve the substrate, adhesive, moisture condition, movement joints, fire performance or exterior exposure. Read the product files together with adhesive guidance, site conditions and the project team’s local compliance review.

For a fire report, check the test method and the specimen described. ASTM’s public E84 scope describes comparative surface-burning behaviour under controlled conditions and explains that mounting supports can affect results. That scope does not establish the fire risk of an actual project wall. Ask for the report applicable to the named product; the project team must review its relevance to the proposed assembly.

Review adhesive and substrate guidance and the conditions for approved exterior wall applications. Record an unresolved assembly detail as a question for review rather than treating a panel report as confirmation.
