Routine Cleaning

Flexible stone surfaces need little more than regular dusting and occasional washing with warm water and a neutral (pH-neutral) cleaner on a soft cloth or sponge. Work top-down, rinse with clean water and let the wall dry. That is the whole routine for most interior walls.

What to Avoid

• Aggressive chemistry — acids, solvents, bleach and abrasive powders can etch or discolour the finish and degrade sealers.
• Abrasive tools — steel wool, hard brushes and scouring pads scratch textured faces.
• Pressure washing on interior finishes — high-pressure jets can drive water behind panels and stress the adhesive bond.
• Steam directly on the surface — sustained heat and moisture can affect sealers; keep steam-cleaning heads off the panels.

Stains and Marks

Deal with splashes early — most marks lift with neutral cleaner before they cure. For grease in kitchens, use a diluted degreaser tested on a hidden area first. Cured paint, adhesive or stubborn marks need mechanical removal tested on an offcut before touching the visible wall — and we are happy to advise on the specific series before you experiment.

Sealed Surfaces and Resealing

Where a sealer was applied at installation (wet areas, high-traffic walls, some exterior applications), its life depends on the product used and the exposure. As a working rule, review sealed surfaces annually: if water no longer beads or the surface stains more easily, it is time to reseal with the same sealer family. Interior feature walls in dry areas generally need no resealing schedule.

Repairs

Scratches, chips and damaged panels are usually repairable panel-by-panel — see the troubleshooting guide for causes and methods, and keep spare panels from the original batch for invisible replacements.
